Predicting the 26-27 Season

It’s that time of year again. Time for a new season to begin and everyone to make their predictions. One thing will be correct: we will get some things right, and we will get some things wrong. Prognosticating is a dangerous art, but boy is it fun. In the spirit of this fun, the writing team at Spurs Daily brings to you our 2026-27 Season Predictions!
These predictions will encompass both the Premier League and Tottenham Hotspur FC, so strap in and let the debate begin!
Premier League Predictions
As you can see, there is strong agreement among the four of us about the top and bottom of the table. Unfortunately, the other North London club is favored to repeat as champions, but there is a lot of variance among who we believe will fill spots 2-6. When it comes to Spurs, we all believe they will be in play for a Champions League spot, with everyone but Ryan believing it will be a fight to the final days of the season. A fight I am sure we would all much prefer than last year’s fight…
Spurs and the Domestic Cups
Not as in line amongst our writers here when it comes to the FA Cup, but we all share the same sentiment that Spurs will make a decent run when it comes to the League Cup. William and Dustin do believe it will be another Glory Night for Spurs at Wembley, and we see Captain Mickey van de Ven hoist his second trophy as a member of Tottenham Hotspur, the first one for the club since 1991! What a sight that would be…
Final Spurs Predictions
This was a fun one for our group. We had hoped this section would produce a variety of answers for the readers. What it really showed us is that great minds think alike. As a group, we are buying the impact of the transfers, as we all believe that Sandro Tonali, Mateus Fernandes, and Omar Marmoush (fingers crossed that deal gets over the line) will be impact sigings for the club this season. While we all predicted Spurs to be in the Champions League hunt this season in the first section, it seems as if we all see the club getting there via a few different routes. Will they steal three points at Stamford Bridge and/or The Emirates? Will they pick up steam as 2026 becomes 2027? Will they go on a run of good fortune one month? Will they do all three? Time will tell.
